HAND ILLUSTRATION
This work is created using hand drawing medium such as graphite and ink. Its subject matter reflects studies that evaluate the effects of light on physicals forms, proportions in realism and abstraction, and perspective methods.
Isometric hand-rendering of a Miami seamstress's studio apartment. Measurements taken within the apartment and scaled by hand, isometric angles determined with rulers, no digital intervention, only mathematical calculations and pencil drawing.
Anatomical study of movement and human proportion. Inspired by Da Vinci’s sketchbook. Rendered in white pastel, on a 6’ x 4’ black spray painted canvas.
Fictional setting. India Ink painting on 12" x 24" canvas.
Inverting the square. Intricately organized white geometries are contained within a black square. At the edge of the square, those white geometries are inverted out and become black. Executed by razor-blade on 6" x 6" construction paper.
