[COMPLETION DATE] To be completed in 2024.

[ABSTRACT] Lulu’s Treehouse is a historic cracker style bungalow that was once home to the Hattersley family in 1910. This single-story two bedroom residence was architectrually restored to its original design in 2023 by GFD Architects. Within Architecture has the honor of Interior Designing the home to transform it into an Art and Science Residency for Miami Dade County under the leadership and direction of the Dade Heritage Trust, a non-profit organization protecting historic buildings and environments throughout Miami. Within Architecture's proposal nods to traditional design trends of early 20th century while subtly mixing in contemporary elements creating a feeling of aspiration and timelessness. The marriage of the old and the new proves a harmonious coexistence between history and progress and inspires the creatives who work within the space to incorporate contextualism and history while ideating on new creation for our future.
